Who we are
This is the privacy and cookie policy for Pub Crawl Budapest, operated by AllNightCrash. We run pub crawls in Budapest and sell them through our website, pubcrawlbudapest.hu.
We are the data controller for the information described here. If you have any question about your data, email us at info@pubcrawlbudapest.hu or call +36 70 771 1775. Our address is Oktogon 1, Budapest 1066, Hungary.
We handle personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
When you book a tour: your name, email, phone number, the tour and date you picked, and the number of people in your party. We need this to take and run your booking.
When you pay: your card payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe processes it and tells us only whether the payment succeeded. We charge in Hungarian Forint (HUF); any euro price shown is an approximation based on the exchange rate.
When you visit the site: if you allow it, we collect standard analytics data —
pages viewed, device and browser, rough location (from your IP), and how you reached
us, including ad click identifiers (for example a Google gclid). This is described
under Cookies below.
Why we use it
- To take payment and deliver the pub crawl you booked.
- To contact you about your booking and send your confirmation.
- To measure how our website and ads perform, so we can run them better.
- To keep records for accounting and to meet legal obligations.
Our legal bases are: performing your booking contract, your consent (for analytics and advertising cookies), and our legitimate interest in running and improving the business.
Cookies and consent
When you first visit, we ask for your cookie choice in a banner. Until you agree, only the strictly necessary cookies run — the ones that remember your consent choice and make the site and checkout work. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which starts with analytics and advertising switched off by default and only turns them on after you opt in.
The cookies we use:
pcb_consent— remembers your cookie choice. Strictly necessary.pcb_click_ids— remembers the ad click ID you arrived with (Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok), so a booking can be matched to the ad that brought you. Set only with your advertising consent.- Analytics and advertising cookies — set by Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta only after you consent.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings, or by clearing cookies in your browser. You can still book a tour if you decline analytics and advertising cookies.
Analytics, advertising and who we share data with
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) to understand traffic and measure our advertising. Events are sent through our own server before reaching these providers (server-side tagging, hosted in the EU), which keeps the data first-party and more accurate.
To measure conversions, we may share a hashed (scrambled, irreversible) version of your email and the ad click ID with Google and Meta. They cannot read your real email from the hash; it only lets them confirm a booking came from one of their ads. This happens only with your advertising consent.
We share data with these providers as our processors:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google — analytics and ad measurement.
- Meta — ad measurement.
- Stape — hosts our server-side tagging container (EU region).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and accounting records for as long as the law requires (tax records are kept for the statutory period in Hungary). Analytics data is kept for a limited retention window set in our analytics tools. When data is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to:
- see the data we hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- delete it,
- limit or object to how we use it,
- receive a copy to take elsewhere, and
- withdraw your consent at any time.
Email info@pubcrawlbudapest.hu and we will handle it. You also have the right to complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH).
Children
Our tours are 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date below and post the new version on this page.
