Budapest doesn't do New Year's quietly. Join us for an NYE pub crawl through the city's best ruin bars, with a welcome drink at every stop and a club finish to see in midnight.
What makes NYE in Budapest different
Budapest takes New Year's Eve seriously. The ruin bars that fill the party district on an ordinary Friday become genuinely packed weeks in advance of 31 December — regulars book their spots early because standing room in the best venues disappears fast. The city has a long tradition of ending the year loudly, and locals party alongside tourists rather than clearing out.
Coming with a guided crawl means you bypass all of that uncertainty. We know which bars are worth the queue and which aren't, and we can get your group in without the wait.

A few practical notes
NYE is our busiest night of the year. A couple of things to keep in mind:
- Dress warm and wear comfortable shoes. We walk between venues — it will be cold and the streets are busy.
- Eat before you join us. A full stomach makes a long night much more enjoyable.
- Some venues enforce a dress code on NYE. Smart-casual is a safe call.
- Booking online secures your spot for the Standard Package. For the Power Hour, email us and we'll sort it out.
The pub crawl the rest of the year
The NYE crawl is a special version of our nightly Budapest pub crawl, which runs 365 days a year from Oktogon at 21:00. If you're visiting at any other time, the regular crawl covers the same ruin bar circuit with a welcome drink at each stop.
