What is a pub crawl, exactly?
A pub crawl is a night out where you visit several bars in one go, having a drink at each stop while you explore the local nightlife. Ours shows you the most authentic Budapest ruin bars, with a guide and a crew of fellow travellers: four bars and one club in a single guided night.
I'm travelling solo. Will it be weird?
It's the opposite: most nights are full of solo travellers, which is exactly why it works. The whole point is arriving alone and leaving with a group chat. Your guide makes sure no one stands on the edge.
Do I actually have to drink?
No. You don't have to drink to belong here. Keep a soft drink in hand and you'll get the same crew, games and city. Nobody counts what's in your glass.
What's included in the price?
Skip-the-line VIP entry to four bars and one club, a welcome shot at each bar, local guides all night, and the games. Power Hour adds 40 minutes of unlimited drinks at the start.
Where and when do we meet?
Every night at 21:00 at Oktogon, by the Burger King. Look for the guides and you'll spot the group. The crawl runs 365 nights a year, rain or shine.
What if the night's a letdown?
It won't be. But if it is, you get your money back. We've run this crawl since 2007 on exactly that promise.
How old do I have to be?
18+. Bring ID; every bar and the club will check it.
Do you run a pub crawl every night?
Yes — every single night of the year, including tonight. We meet at 21:00 at Oktogon, in front of the Burger King.
How long is the pub crawl?
We start at 21:00 and reach the final club around 01:30 — and you're welcome to stay on there into the early hours, so the night runs as long as you want it to.
Is it cheaper to book online?
Yes — online prices are always lower than paying on the door, and booking ahead here locks in your spot for the night.
What if I'm late to the meeting point?
We wait up to 20 minutes, so arriving by 21:20 is fine. Running later than that, call us on +36 70 771 1775 and we'll help you catch up.
Is Budapest safe at night?
Very. Budapest is one of Europe's safer capitals, with low street crime and a tourist-friendly centre — and you're with a local guide and a group the whole night.
What is the Power Hour / All You Can Drink?
Power Hour is our all-you-can-drink opener: 40 minutes of unlimited premium drinks (long drinks, premium shots, beer and wine) before the crawl. We're the only Budapest pub crawl that includes long drinks in the all-you-can-drink package. It runs at the same time, with the same group, as the standard crawl. It's just an extra level.
