Unicum
Unicum is a dark, bitter Hungarian herbal liqueur produced by Zwack since 1790. It is made from a proprietary blend of more than 40 herbs and spices and aged in oak casks, giving it a distinctive bittersweet flavour.
Unicum in Budapest
Unicum is one of Hungary's most iconic spirits and is served in virtually every bar in Budapest, including the city's famous ruin bars. It is commonly drunk as a digestif shot or on ice. A sweeter variant, Unicum Next, uses citrus notes and appeals to those who find the original too bitter.
